One thing I would change
One thing I would change would be when I started wrestling, because if I would have started earlier I would know even more. It may not seem like it, but I started wrestling late. Usually kinda start wrestling in first grade, I started in fourth. The only way to get better in wrestling is to just keep doing it, and getting more time on the mat. That is why the high level, Olympic wrestlers are who they are, because they started when they were young. I feel like if I would have started wrestling earlier, then I would be closer to my goals. But I can't go back and change it, and I am ok with where I am at. I have worked really hard to get to where I am, and I am still working to get to where I want to be.

Someone or something I cherish
One person I cherished is my dad. My dad is a very important person in my life, because he has made me into what I am today. My dad has pushed me to my limits just so I can reach my goals. Sometimes I may not always agree with what he says, but there is always a meaning behind it. He has taught me many lessons, and I am very grateful for all of them. Without my dad I would not be as smart, dedicated, or determined as I am today. Without my dad I would have never thought about wrestling. I also know that if I ever have a problem with anything I can turn to him for help. If he would have just let me give up, I would have had the mentality that its ok to quit, and I would not have been able to push through and work harder and harder. My dad is a great dad and I could not have asked for a better one.

What I did over summer
One thing I did over the summer was go to wrestling camps and wrestle. We went to Alliance, Ohio and Milan, Ohio. In Alliance part of our high school team went down and wrestled in a duel tournament. Our team wrestled eight meets, although not everyone wrestled every meet. Overall our team went seven and one with a close loss to Parma. Before and after the trip to Alliance, wrestlers on our team went to wrestling camps in Milan, Ohio. These wrestling camps are ran by our head coach, who runs camps there every summer. These wrestling camps are either a week long or weekend camps. During the week long camps there are either three or four, two hour sessions everyday, while the weekend session camps vary from two to four, two hour sessions a day. On Monday and Wednesday during the week long camps, before our session, we ran two and a half miles and then did 10 sprints. All of this is very hard, but in the end it all pays off in the end. the coaches have coached hundreds of state champions and placers, as well as multiple national champions and placers. In the end the camps are fun, because I learned many new things and made many new friends.

My name
A name,
No, it's much more,
Determination, hard work, and commitment,
Also a goal, a dream,
To be remembered not just for money or fame,
But what I have made of my life,
For people to remember my name,
And my rise to the top,
And how I did it the right way,
By working my hardest,
To represent my city,
How I rose like a fire,
And won my title,
While the enemy lay defeated,
How I went from the very bottom,
To the very top,
How in a sport of gladiators,
I was a champion,
How in a battlefield stained in blood, sweat, and tears,
I was the champion,
The beginning of how darrian,
Became known,
The first step towards the dream,
Something I vision everyday,
When I want to give up,
And not run that extra mile,
Not do the extra rep,
Not do the extra sprint,
Something I have been working half my life for,
A state championship.
No, it's much more,
Determination, hard work, and commitment,
Also a goal, a dream,
To be remembered not just for money or fame,
But what I have made of my life,
For people to remember my name,
And my rise to the top,
And how I did it the right way,
By working my hardest,
