One thing I wanted when I was younger

One thing i wanted when I was younger was a puppy. Then I received said puppy and he ruined my house. He grew up and got extremely fat. ( he is an English bulldog). He slobbers and sheds badly so we have to clean at least two times as much as we used to. Also he is prone to a lot of infections in his wrinkles, so we have to clean those as well. The good and bad parts about having him are that he sleeps a whole lot. This is good because it means he is not making a mess. Then the bad part is that he is being lazy and he does not want to do anything such as play with one of his toys. Overall I am thankful to have him and he is now an important part of my family.

my thanksgiving meal

For my thanksgiving meal i probably would not cook, i would just order a bunch of unhealthy food. This food would probably include taco bell, wendys, chipotle etc. I would do this because it is different and no one does this, at least that i know of. Also this all sounds extremely delicious. Who i would invite to help me would probably include some of the top chefs in the world to assist me in my cooking, these chefs would have to include some of the chefs from taco bell and the resturaunts that i order from. Now who i would invite consists of a long list of people probably everyone who helped is first on the list and then all of my friends and all of their families. After i will invite all of my families friends and their families. Sooner or later everyone in the world will bhttp://www.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/tacobell(1).jpge there and it will be one big party. All in all it will end up being the best thanksgiving ever.

Pirate or Ninja?

If I could be either a pirate or a ninja for a day, I would be a ninja. I would be a ninja because i could have a cool name/nickname i would be the... wait for it... Ginja Ninja. Also if I was a ninja I can be really stealthy and slick. I could sneak and attack and no one would know what hit them. Another reason I would be a ninja is because that have so many cool weapons.Theres a Shuriken, nun chucks, and a ninja sword. There are so many ninja weapons that would be so cool to use. Also I would open a dojo and eventually mutate some turtles and teach them the ways of the ninja. Finally, I could make t-shirts that say ginja ninja on them and they would be orange with black writing and a person in all black in ninja form.

One gadget that improves society

One thing I would invent that would improve society would be a machine that turns salt water into fresh water. It would do this by taking salt water and putting it into the machine, and it would then extract the salt from the liquid. It would then purify the water three or four separate times just to make sure that the water is as pure and fresh as possible. This machine would benefit people, because  less than 10% of the water on our planet is fresh water. We (as people) cannot drink salt water, therefore my machine would increase the quantity and supply of fresh water on our planet. Without this machine the human race would drink up the rest of the fresh water, but it would most likely occur over a million years from now. It would mainly help sustain life on earth for billions of years to come.

One thing I would do if money were no object

One thing I would do if money were no object would be to own a restaurant. I would do this because cooking is fun and I am actually pretty good at it. I would probably own a restaurant that specializes in pancakes. I make these a lot after wrestling season because of how hungry I am. The impact I would have on society would be that one day every year I would give out free pancakes to anyone who came to my restaurant. This is a good idea overall because pancakes fill people up really fast, therefore people who can not buy food can eat 3 pancakes and feel full. What I could also do to help society is open culinary schools, and give scholarships to students who deserve them.

One thing I would change

One thing I would change would be when I started wrestling, because if I would have started earlier I would know even more. It may not seem like it, but I started wrestling late. Usually kinda start wrestling in first grade, I started in fourth. The only way to get better in wrestling is to just keep doing it, and getting more time on the mat. That is why the high level, Olympic wrestlers are who they are, because they started when they were young. I feel like if I would have started wrestling earlier, then I would be closer to my goals. But I can't go back and change it, and I am ok with where I am at. I have worked really hard to get to where I am, and I am still working to get to where I want to be.

Someone or something I cherish

One person I cherished is my dad. My dad is a very important person in my life, because he has made me into what I am today. My dad has pushed me to my limits just so I can reach my goals. Sometimes I may not always agree with what he says, but there is always a meaning behind it. He has taught me many lessons, and I am very grateful for all of them. Without my dad I would not be as smart, dedicated, or determined as I am today. Without my dad I would have never thought about wrestling. I also know that if I ever have a problem with anything I can turn to him for help. If he would have just let me give up, I would have had the mentality that its ok to quit, and I would not have been able to push through and work harder and harder. My dad is a great dad and I could not have asked for a better one.

What I did over summer

One thing I did over the summer was go to wrestling camps and wrestle. We went to Alliance, Ohio and Milan, Ohio. In Alliance part of our high school team went down and wrestled in a duel tournament. Our team wrestled eight meets, although not everyone wrestled every meet. Overall our team went seven and one with a close loss to Parma. Before and after the trip to Alliance, wrestlers on our team went to wrestling camps in Milan, Ohio. These wrestling camps are ran by our head coach, who runs camps there every summer. These wrestling camps are either a week long or weekend camps. During the week long camps there are either three or four, two hour sessions everyday, while the weekend session camps vary from two to four, two hour sessions a day. On Monday and Wednesday during the week long camps, before our session, we ran two and a half miles and then did 10 sprints. All of this is very hard, but in the end it all pays off in the end. the coaches have coached hundreds of state champions and placers, as well as multiple national champions and placers. In the end the camps are fun, because I learned many new things and made many new friends.

My name

A name,
No, it's much more,
Determination, hard work, and commitment,
Also a goal, a dream,
To be remembered not just for money or fame,
But what I have made of my life,
For people to remember my name,
And my rise to the top,
And how I did it the right way,
By working my hardest,
To represent my city,
How I rose like a fire,
And won my title,
While the enemy lay defeated,
How I went from the very bottom,
To the very top,
How in a sport of gladiators,
I was a champion,
How in a battlefield stained in blood, sweat, and tears,
I was the champion,
The beginning of how darrian,
Became known,
The first step towards the dream,
Something I vision everyday,
When I want to give up,
And not run that extra mile,
Not do the extra rep,
Not do the extra sprint,
Something I have been working half my life for,
A state championship.

My rule

My number one rule for life, for anyone, would be to do everything to the best of their ability and forget all the criticism. This is my most number one rule because, I feel that if they did everything at the best of their ability then they'll have a good life, and feel good about themselves. I also said forget all the criticism because, in the end it does not matter what someone says or thinks about them, it's what they think about themselves. Feeling good about themselves improves their emotional, and social well-being,which leads to better overall health, and a better life. I feel like if everyone followed this rule, then there would not be as many problems in America such as our academics, bullying, and obesity. People would be more mature, healthy, and successful human beings if they do everything to the best of their ability. If you look at successful people that's what they did to get to where they are.
