My supa dupa secret

Dear Bryson,

So hey man how you been. I have been pretty good myself except I've had this thing inside that's just destroying me and I need to tell you. Although I feel like I should layout the scene and explain first. It was a glorious Friday afternoon about a month ago or so, and I was about to leave my 7th period class, English. This class is always fun because it is taught by the all knowing Mr.Juarez. You were telling us all about your new favorite CD, yes the new Jessica Simpson one. I have never really
Liked her I was more of a fergie man, I mean come on its fergie. But that's not the point the real point I'm trying to make here is that later that day you came over to chill like real homies do after a long week of school. And you know when us dudes get from school we are hungry. So as my guest I made you some pop tarts, like some real thugs. So I went and make the pop tarts and when I came back you were holding a bag with a goldfish in it. When I asked you what his name was you said Carl. I thought to myself what an interesting and sophisticated name for a goldfish. I had always wanted a smart stylish goldfish but my parents said that they weren't Gucci and would make me look like a lame. So when you left I said goodbye and went downstairs and realized you left Carl there. So I went down and took him and put him in a bowl in my room. He has been there ever since that day and his name is now Alfred not Carl.

Being rejected

A time where a person might feel left out or rejected is when a group of their friends are going out and doing something and they aren't invited. This can cause them to feel like they aren't apart of the group and that they aren't welcomed into that social atmosphere. This can cause a feeling of loneliness and sadness. I know that if my friends were hanging out and not inviting me that I would probably feel both sad and a little angry. When something like that happens you can't help but feel a little anger that some of the people you call friends suddenly do not want to be around you. Overall the person would feel distraught and confused probably, they would question what they did prior to this time and wonder what they could have done different to change the outcome. Although this is only one time and would probably not be too emotionally stressful while if this occurred multiple times it would weigh on the persons emotions and feelings.

actions in frankenstein

I feel like in frankenstein the actions are more effective. I feel this way because they give more of an suspicious side to the story as well as bringing out the stories horror factors. When William is murdered it came out of no where and kinda surprised me. Then after that incident when Victor finds the monster and comes to the conclusion it gives the story another twist. When  Justine was killed it just made the story seem more brutal and gives it that horror factor that I spoke of earlier. The scene where Victor finds the monster and chases him to the cliff, and then suddenly the monster just disappears it makes the monster and the scene just feel eerie. I feel like the setting and details that shelly uses are very effective as well but I feel like the actions combined with her descriptions of the actions are more effective.

Exploring the unknown

Some ways in which people have explored the unknown are louis and clark, when they we sent to discover what was west of american civilization. Also columbus set sail across the atlantic to explore americe, even though  he thought he was in India at the time. All explorers who set off on their adventures all shared on common trait, courage. To devote your life to such hardship you must have courage, because you will never know what could happen. Colunbus could have easily have crashed all of his boats and died in the atlantic, he knew this but he continued on because he wanted to explore the new world. If he had never decided to sail to america, who knows what mught have happened. Maybe america would have been found some 200 years later, and the native americans defeat the armada that opposes them. All in all these individuals devoted their lives to exploration because they know something amazing could spark from it. Even though they may leave their families and friends, they feel like the journey they will experience is more important. Without all of these brave people history could have never been made and life today could be completely different.

Desperate measures

One time me and my friend, let's call him Steve, were out walking down some street in the middle of no where. Now me and Steve were just bored and have been walking from some time now so we decided to sit down for a little bit. We did this for approximately a half an hour when suddenly Steve proclaimed that his arm was hurting. So i was forced to find steve a way to get help, when suddenly a truck speeds up next to us. Just then i jump out in front of the truck and stop it with my jedi mind trick. Just then me and steve run behind and jump into the back, but when we opened the door we noticed that the truck was filled with taco bell. Loaded grillers, XXL nachos, doritos locos tacos, chalupas, and much much more glorious Mexican delights. So me and Steve jump over the massive pile of taco bell and hide in the very back of the truck. Just in time too because just then the truck driver had ran to the back to check out the scene. But we were already hidden and he went along like nothing had happened, got into the truck, and drove. As the driver took off all the taco bell collapsed on us. As we lay there being crushed by glorious piles of food, I came up with an idea. I told steve the only way out was to eat all the taco bell. Soon after I said that we were already chowing down on tacos. Within a short period of time we had consumed the entire trucks worth of taco bell. After we finished that it turned out that steves arm wasn't hurting anymore. Right then the truck stopped and me and steve jumped out and ran as fast as we could to the nearest hospital. When we got there we had the doctor examines Steves arm to see why it was hurting, it turned out he was suffering from taco bell withdraw. He said if he hadn't had the taco bell he would have probably died. Finally he gave Steve maybe the best prescription ever " taco bell orally two times daily minimum". We sat there in joyful tears, now we meet and eat at taco bell everyday.

Tenth grade aspirations

Every tenth grader has aspirations that they truly wish to achieve. My overall personal goal for my tenth grade year is to receive a 4.0 GPA. This is my main aspiration because now at my school my grades aren’t waded, therefore to get into a good college I need near perfect grades. This is related to my next aspiration which is to improve all my grades. This is important to me because I had all A’s in middle school and received almost all B’s last quarter. Once again my last goal ties in with the previous, to receive an A in science. Ever since I started going to early college I haven’t gotten an A in science. I hope to achieve all these aspirations very soon.

Ogt test

The ogt tests that I feel least prepared for would be the reading test. I say this because my reading test scores are hit or miss. On the first standardized test I took my freshman year I had one of the best reading scores, but the last one I took I got an average reading score. Something's that I'm going to try to do to improve my reading scores is to read more books. I say this because I don't read too often and when I do it's not for very long. Usually I start reading a book and within a week or two I'm done with it and I eventually forget about it. My dad said this is the easiest way for me to improve my reading comprehension. Another way that I plan to improve my scores would be to do more practice tests. These help immensely because they give you an idea what the tests are going to be like. The OGT is far different from the ACT because there is no time limit on the OGT so I can read and retread the selections so I can comprehend the reading more so the questions are easier.
